Monday — Police reported they charged a 15-year-old Saxonburg boy, who attends an area reform school, for bringing marijuana and cigarettes onto a school van on April 11. The contraband was found while the van was on West Cunningham Street.The boy, who police did not identify, is charged in Butler County juvenile court with possession of small amount of marijuana and using tobacco on school property.10:11 p.m. Saturday — Three Butler men allegedly attacked another man at a Walker Avenue apartment.The suspects — Brandon L. Fusaro-Podobensky, 20; Jonathan M. Fusaro-Podobensky, 21; and Jeremy E. Oesterling, 34 — are all charged with simple assault and conspiracy.The alleged victim, 45-year-old Benjamin Main of Butler, told police that he was visiting the apartment with several other people and had been drinking throughout the day when the suspects showed up there.Main said Oesterling grabbed him by the throat and called him a “snitch,” according to a police report. Oesterling pushed Main to the ground, and the three suspects allegedly punched and kicked Main.The alleged victim was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for severe bruising and other injuries to his face and both arms.5:13 a.m. Saturday — A 17-year-old Butler boy was arrested after he allegedly attacked his 21-year-old girlfriend during a domestic dispute at a home in the 200 block of Federal Street. The woman, of Butler, suffered injuries to her hands and neckThe boy, who police did not identify, is charged in Butler County juvenile court with simple assault and underage drinking.1:27 a.m. Saturday — Megan N. Maksin, 21, of Butler Township was caught with prescription medication, for which she was not prescribed, while parked in a car at a store parking lot on South Monroe Street.Police said they found Maksin with a pill each of oxycodone and Adderall, and six pills of Gabapentin. Oxycodone is a painkiller, Adderall is an amphetamine-based psychostimulant medication used to treat attention deficit disorder, and Gabapentin is an antiseizure drug.Maksin is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

8:19 p.m. Sunday — Kelley B. Crisp, 40, of Butler allegedly slapped a 15-year-old girl in the face during an argument at a home on Saxonburg Road. The girl suffered a minor injury to her nose. Crisp was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and released on her own recognizance.7:09 a.m. Sunday — Ryan A. Giagola, 21, of Butler faces a drug charge after he suffered a suspected heroin overdose at his home on Harper Avenue. A Butler Ambulance Service crew treated and revived Giagola. Police cited him for possession of drug paraphernalia.Friday — Police filed charges against Charles P. Norris IV, 24, of Butler stemming from the theft of two rings and three sets of earrings from a home on West Muntz Avenue between March 29 and April 5. The stolen jewelry is valued at $350. Norris is charged with two counts each of theft and receiving stolen property.

10:57 p.m. Monday — James Winkler, 21, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck an embankment and rolled over on Mercer Road just north of South Creek Road in Slippery Rock Township. Winkler suffered a minor injury but refused medical treatment.10:08 p.m. Monday — Tina M. Gibson, 36, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on North Main Street in Butler.6:39 p.m. Monday — Jacob D. Raducz, 22, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance at New Castle and Duffy roads in Butler Township.Monday — A Wyoming County man is suspected of using a Clinton Township business' credit card to rack up at least $48,411.89 in unauthorized purchases. The suspected thief used the card, which belongs to RAM Transit Lines, to pay for merchandise and services between October and April.Police, who did not identify the 40-year-old Laceyville suspect, said their investigation continues.Monday — Police filed 38 citations against Twin Willows Auto Sales Inc. for suspected dealer violations and for allegedly permitting an unlicensed salesman to sell two vehicles at the Route 8 business in Middlesex Township. Police said 47-year-old Marvin G. Hoy of Butler also faces a charge in the case for acting as an unlicensed vehicle salesman.Monday — Twelve tractor weights worth a combined $1,200 were stolen from Bear Creek Road in Winfield Township. The theft happened between 3 p.m. Saturday and 9:45 a.m. Monday.Wednesday — Police charged a Center Township couple with shoplifting eight T-shirts worth $225 from the Boscov's store, Clearview Mall in Center Township. The suspects, Corey D. Slupe, 42, and his wife, Christina M. Slupe, 41, are each charged with retail theft.10:54 p.m. April 12 — Ronda S. Jones, 45, of Stoneboro, Mercer County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI after her car hit an embankment and crashed into a tree along Boyers Road just west of Ferguson Road in Marion Township. Jones, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries.

6:45 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Jonathan K. Mong, 26, of Emlenton struck a plastic culvert pipe and crashed into a mailbox and tree along Nickleville Road, about one-half mile north of Route 208 in Salem Township. Police said they cited Mong for driving at an unsafe speed, driving on the wrong side of the road and an open container violation.5:30 p.m. Sunday — Amy J. Terwint, 38, of Callensburg is accused of shooting a 20-year-old Rimersburg man and a 14-year-old boy in the legs with an airsoft gun at a home on Main Street in Callensburg. Police cited Terwint for harassment.
