Grand slams propel Knoch
Bethany Hay and Codi Reed launched grand slams in the top of the ninth inning as Knoch's softball team won 19-8 at Kittanning Thursday afternoon.
The game was tied at 7 after seven innings of play before both teams tallied a run in the eighth.
Also hitting home runs for the Knights were Karsan Simpson and Chandler Krelow.
Reed pitched all nine innings to earn the victory, striking out five and not walking a batter.
