Corbett leads trade mission to Brazil, Chile
HARRISBURG — Gov. Tom Corbett is leaving this weekend on his second international trade mission. He’s headed to Brazil and Chile with his wife and more than 50 members of the business, tourism and academic communities, as well as two Philadelphia Regional Port Authority officials.
Also traveling are two of Corbett’s secretaries, the chairmen of the Public Utility Commission and Liquor Control Board, 11 aides and three Pennsylvania State Police troopers.
It’ll last 10 days and an organizer, Team Pennsylvania Foundation, says it’s projected to cost just less than $350,000.
Private-sector participants paid at least $78,000 of that.
