ADAMS TWP — Developers of a three-building storage facility still may continue with the project after receiving approval from the township supervisors on Monday night.

The proposed storage facility was approved by the supervisors almost five years ago, but developers have never begun the project. They requested reapproval Monday night because the previous approval expires at the end of April.

The property is the former Kennedy farm on Hutchman Road. Buildings planned are 13,600, 12,800 and 9,000 square feet in size.

Township code enforcement officer Gary Peaco said developer Gary Dillner still is considering building the facility, but does not know when the project could begin.

The new approval is valid for another five years.

The supervisors also approved the sale of a 2004 township police car to the highest bidder, John Kildoo of Saxonburg, for $2,600.

In addition, supervisors Chairman Donald Aiken was appointed to the township water authority board of directors. He will replace supervisor Ed Vogel.
