• The Pioneer Players present “The Laramie Project” at 7:30 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday in the Succop Theater. The cast includes current and former BC3 students, staff and community members.
The play is based on the murder of Matthew Shepard in October of 1998 in Laramie, Wyo. This play is not intended for children. Audience discretion is advised.

Slippery Rock University
• The theater department concludes the comedic rock musical “Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson” at 7:30 p.m. today in the University Union. The show reimagines America's seventh president, nicknamed “Old Hickory,” as a rock star.
Tickets are $7 for students and $12 for the public. The show has been deemed inappropriate for children. Tickets are available at the Smith Student Center information desk or at the door. Call the box office at 724-738-2645.
• The Martha Gault Art Gallery in Maltby Center is displaying “Romancing the Tone,” words as art, through March 15. An opening reception will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
• “The Marvelous Wonderettes” show, featuring four '50s girls presenting pop hits of the era will go on at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for senior citizens, $18 for those 17 and younger, and $8 for SRU students. Call 724-738-2018.
