Mars DECA winners in 1971 at District 2 competition included, seated, from left, Pat Sentner, Linda Benek and Dara Gardner. Standing was Libby Northart. Dara, a junior, placed fourth in the display division at the state level. Linda, holding the plaque won in Pittsburgh, competed for a Students of the Year nomination at the DECA conference in Lancaster.
