Margaret A. “Peg” Leslie, 64, of Butler went to her Lord and beloved family members on Friday at Cranberry Place.

Born March 26, 1948, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Frank and Florence Wise Leslie.

Peg graduated from Butler Memorial School of Nursing and had worked as a registered nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital and the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and as an emergency room supervisor in Phoenix, Ariz., for most of her career.

She was a member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Red Hat Society, Butler Nurses Alumni and the Saxonburg Women’s Club and a volunteer for Butler VNA Hospice.

Surviving are her sister, Beverly (Dennis) Miller of Owenton, Ky.; her brother, Frank Leslie of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and great-niece, Amber Grace Miller.

She will be sorely missed by her family and her bevy of friends.

LESLIE — Friends of Margaret A. “Peg” Leslie, who passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
