Third graders at Chicora Elementary School in the Karns City School District were asked to write about “What Valentine’s Day means to me.” Here is what they said. Letters from other students appeared in Tuesday’s Butler Eagle.

What Valentine’s Day mean’s to me is spending time with my family and the ones I love and have lots of fun and play with my friends at school and make cards for my class and spend time with the kids across my house and give out treats to my class and make hart shaped cookies with my mom and what I realy need for Valentine’s is to see my aunt Stacy and uncle Matt and see my cousins and make cake with my family and spend time with my other aunt and uncle and go to my friend’s house Samantha.

Valentine’s is special to me because I get to make treats with my mom. And go shopping with my dad for my mom and we all leave notes and cards on the table for each other. And when I get up theres a bunch of cards on the table for my family. We all have lot’s of family so we vist them. And are family loves to travel and My dog Baylie we just pack up and Go! And especilly playing with my dog and all my firends. My mom, dad and me fight all over the candy so I hide mine! $ Chaching All mine come to mama. And whats great about it is spending time with my Mom, Dad and Dog and that is what valentines Means to me.
