ADAMS TWP — Five senior football players at Mars High School committed Wednesday to play the sport in college.

They include: Chris Panza (North Dakota State), Connor Biggs (Dayton), Jake Tumminello (Clarion), Alex Smith (Mercyhurst) and Cole Horan (Baldwin-Wallace).

BUTLER TWP — Jake Hilliard and Steve Drake scored 16 points each, but the Butler County Community College men's basketball team dropped an 80-59 decision to Potomac State Wednesday night.The Pioneers are 3-16 on the season.Shelby Johnston scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but the BC3 women (3-16) were defeated, 93-45.
