SRU hosts a Black History Month Poetry Slam at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Russell Wright Alumni House and Conference Center. The session will highlight poetry by African-American women.

GCC will host “Christ is Born,” a traveling art exhibition, from Tuesday through March 9 in the Pew Fine Arts Center gallery. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 15.The gallery is open noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and during evening events in the center.
