The Warriors (6-13) were fast out of the gate, outscoring the Golden Knights 16-3 in the first quarter.

The Butler girls' 4x200 relay team placed first in a meet at Youngstown State University Sunday with a time of one minute, 50.01 seconds. The squad included Paige Allen, Kristen Knass, Amanda Wiest and Kennedy Evans.The Golden Tornado's 4x800 relay also did well, finishing second. That team was comprised of Alexis Swiergol, Macy Stalnaker, Tori Sawhney and Rachel Weyand.On Saturday, Ava Bonetti managed a career-best indoor effort of 37 feet, 11 inches while placing third in the girls shot put at Edinboro University.On the boys' side, Butler's Anthony Yurkovich placed in all three jumps, including a third-place effort of 6-1 in the high jump.
