U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman Jacob Perri graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Perri earned distinction as an honor graduate.

The airman is a 2012 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, Jackson Township.

He is the son of Ann McGee of Monroe Street in Harmony and grandson of Francis Perri of Standish Boulevard, Mount Lebanon.

U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Mark Minehart, son of Wendy Michetti of Estero, Fla., and Mark Minehart of Renfrew, graduated from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

Minehart is a 2012 graduate of Cypress Lake High School of Fort Myers, Fla.

U.S. Navy Constructionman Robert Thibodeau III, son of Tammy and Robert Thibodeau of Fenelton, received the Naval Construction Force Battle “E” award for outstanding operational performance of Naval Mobile Construction Battalions.

In Afghanistan, Thibodeau’s battalion, NMCB 11, supported engineering operations and completed more than 70 projects. Their work included training support to Afghan engineer forces.

Thibodeau is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School and joined the Navy in December 2011.
