PITTSBURGH — Police say a set of bronze doors worth more than $8,000 was stolen from a century-old tomb in a Pittsburgh cemetery.

The doors and a stained-glass window were discovered missing Thursday from Union Dale Cemetery.

The theft was reported by the cemetery superintendent. He told investigators he doesn't believe the doors are engraved with the family's name.

Authorities say the 1904 granite mausoleum is not maintained by relatives, so the cemetery owns the property.

DOYLESTOWN — A ninth-grader who allegedly kept two guns on his nightstand has acknowledged threatening to shoot up his suburban Philadelphia high school less than a week after the elementary school massacre in Connecticut, authorities said.The unidentified 14-year-old remains at a juvenile detention center and is scheduled for sentencing later this month, a newspaper reported Thursday. His mother also faces charges.The teen admitted to charges of terroristic threats and possession of a firearm by a minor during a juvenile court hearing, said Michele Walsh, chief of the juvenile division for the county district attorney's office.
