New Christmas Lights
Butler’s Main Street got 46 new Christmas decorations purchased by the Downtown Butler Association in December 1977. The Butler Area Jaycees installed and maintained them. Participating in the endeavor are, from left, David Patterson, president of the Jaycees; Kenneth McFarland, David Balkey and William Freeman, all from the Jaycees, and Robert Moore, president of the DBA. The lights cost more than $7,000.
