Narcotics probe leads to 4 arrests; police seek others
State police on Monday arrested two men from Saxonburg and two men from Slippery Rock on felony drug possession charges during a warrant roundup.
Joshua Pelkofer, 28, and Daniel Sweeney Jr., 27, both of Saxonburg, as well as Timothy Chavez, 22, and Matthew Chavez, 23, both of Slippery Rock, each allegedly sold drugs to undercover state troopers or confidential informants during a months-long narcotics investigation, according to a report released by state police on Monday.
All four were arraigned by District Judge Sue Haggerty and placed in Butler County Jail on $20,000 bail each.
These people still are wanted by state police for felony drug possession as part of the same investigation: Rachel N. Kirk, 22, of Valencia; Christopher Treleani, 20, of Gibsonia; Daniel Wikert, 20, of Sarver; Isaac Hollenberger, 21, of Cabot; and Paul A. McConnell, 24, of Slippery Rock.
