Mars surges past SV
Mars outscored Seneca Valley 19-4 in the third quarter as the Planets defeated the neighboring Raiders 62-51 in the championship game of the Scott Lang Memorial Boys Basketball Tournament Saturday night at Mars High School.
Josh Goetz led the Planets with 12 points, while Mitch Buzard and Garrett Ashbaugh both added 11.
For the Raiders, R.J. McCauley scored 17 points and Matt Darby added 12.
