Robbery attempt fails at pizza shop
SLIPPERY ROCK — Borough police are searching for a man who attempted to rob the Domino’s pizza shop on North Main Street Tuesday night.
The suspect is described as a white man, whose height is 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches, with a red goatee.
He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a zipper front and a black ski mask.
Police report an employee, whose name was not released, saw the man enter the shop with a ski mask rolled up above the eyes so his vision was unobstructed, but others couldn’t see the color of his eyes.
The man walked past the counter and was momentarily out of the employee’s sight before returning to the counter.
The suspect extended his right hand, which was covered by the sweat shirt’s sleeve, toward the employee holding an object that may have been a weapon.
The suspect twice told the employee: “Give me all your money.”
He exited the building without any money and briefly stood outside before fleeing on foot toward New Castle Street.
Police were dispatched at 10:47 p.m.
