Sarah 'Isabell' Piper Reinhart

Sarah “Isabell” Piper Reinhart, 91, a lifelong resident of Zelienople, passed away peacefully on Sunday at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Grove City.

Born Feb. 10, 1921, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Foster) Piper.

Isabell was a member of the English Lutheran Church in Zelienople for many years. She was a former employee of Step-Saver Kitchens and Estey Organs, and she retired from Weyerhaeuser in Harmony after many years of dedicated service.

Isabell was a member of the Zelienople Lions Club and the Harmony Moose Ladies Auxiliary. During her free time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, ceramics, playing cards and bingo.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Sarah “Sally” Elizabeth McPherson of Zelienople; her dear sister, Elizabeth “Toots” Reinhart of Harmony; her four loving granddaughters, Deborah Smith and her husband, Jerry, of Evans City, Sharon Enslen and her husband, Bill, of Prospect, Michelle Huffman and her husband, Rob, of Connoquenessing and Kristen Moller and her husband, Chuck, of Viola, Del.; five great-grandchildren, Sarah Enslen, Justin Huffman, Jacob Huffman, Charlie Moller and Mary Moller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Jacob H. Reinhart, who she married on April 28, 1938, and who passed away on Jan. 17, 1987; her dear son, Jacob Thomas Reinhart, who passed away on March 4, 2008; her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann (Santypal) Reinhart, who passed away on Oct. 22, 2000; her two dear friends, Angelo Liperato and Lee Jacob “Benny” Zeigler; her four brothers; and her three sisters.

REINHART — Sarah “Isabell” Piper Reinhart passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012. Isabell's family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert A. Keplinger officiating. She will be laid to rest at the English Lutheran Church Cemetery.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of the English Lutheran Church, 200 E.
