Vern F. McMullen, 77, of West Deer Township passed away Thursday.

Born in West Deer Township on July 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Leroy John and Helen (Wood) McMullen. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy E. (Davis) McMullen.

He was the father of Douglas (Mary Ann) McMullen and Daniel (Terri) McMullen; the brother of Gary McMullen and the late James and Herbert McMullen; and the grandfather of Chloe and Avery McMullen.

Vern was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran, a longtime driver and dispatcher for Tesone Transportation, and enjoyed traveling.
