Butler netted goals from seven different players in a 7-1 victory over Hempfield in PIHL Class AAA action Thursday at Kirk S. Nevin Arena.

Troy Double, Nick Whann, Tanner Gilliland, Matt Tomasovic, Joe DiMartino, Jake Campbell and Brett Sybert each scored for the Tornado.

Gilliland added three assists while Whann and Jonathan Fair added two assists and Logan Rothbauer made 23 saves.

Freeport 1, Kittanning 1 — Matt Huston made 30 saves to help the Yellowjackets earn a draw with the Wildcats in Class A action at the Belmont Complex.

Nicholas Rusak scored off a Devin Christy assist to give Freeport a 1-0 lead in the second period before the Wildcats tied the game eight seconds later.

Quaker Valley 5, Mars 2 — Craig Mazzotta and Ed Schwadron scored for the Planets, who were outshot 27-14.
