Harrisville Community Band will perform its annual fall concert at 7 p.m. Friday in the Harrisville Fire Hall, 313 E. Mercer St. The band will play a variety of songs, including “Spania March,” “An American Christmas,” “Pixar Movie Magic,” “Fidelity March,” “Pachelbel's Canon” and “The Prince of Denmark March.” Jim Jaskowak, Grove City Middle School music teacher and resident of Jackson Center, will direct the band as its new director. Admission is free. Volunteer firefighters will have refreshments for sale.

Classic country music singer Tony Barge of Ellwood City will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the East Butler Fire Hall, 800 E. Grant St. Tickets will be sold at the door. Call 724-761-6440.

Handel’s “Messiah” rehearsals have begun for the New Castle Music Club under the direction of Butler resident Harry Cunningham. Rehearsals are from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays.
