Linda Harigan

A pumpkin decorating contest was held in Zelienople as part of the Country Fall Festival.

First place in the children’s division went to Jude Olayer, second place to Abby Garrity and third place to Shristi Gurung.

Adult winners were Aimee Pieszak and Jennifer Bornes.

The People’s Choice award went to Matthew Deemer for his silver, Matisse-inspired pumpkin.

Linda Harigan will compete in the finals of the Humorous Speech Contest at the District 13 Toastmasters Conference on Nov. 3 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Moon Township.

Harigan is a member of the Early Bird Toastmasters.
