Dorothy S. McCandless
Dorothy S. McCandless, 80, of Butler passed away at 5:15 a.m. Saturday at Sunnyview Home.
She was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Butler, the daughter of the late John and Susan (Droder) Biskup.
Surviving are her sons, Jay C. McCandless of Irvine, Calif., and Jack McCandless of Dallas, Texas; her sisters, Ruth Bartley of Indianapolis and Joanie Hinkle of Ocala, Fla.; and her brother, Tom Biskup of Homestead, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark McCandless, who she married Jan. 21, 1953, and who died Jan. 6, 2000; and three sisters, Marie Durai, Julia Letforth and Christina Green.
MCCANDLESS — Friends of Dorothy S. McCandless, who passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
