MIDDLESEX TWP — The county/gospel/bluegrass group Sound Witness will play from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Joseph P. King Farm, 141 King's Farm Lane, Valencia.
The group's appearance is part of the farm's fall festival running 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and Oct. 27 and 28.
The event features horse-drawn hayrides, a petting zoo and food. Proceeds will go to the Southeast Asia Prayer Center and the Tapestry Ministry of Juarez, Mexico.

SLIPPERY ROCK — The Old Stone House will host an array of spooky stories and Halloween festivities from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26. A donation of $3 per person, or $5 per family is suggested for the family-focused tour of the restored 1822 inn complete with ghost stories.The annual event offers interactive storytelling, historical re-enactments, a paranormal investigation, and a costume contest.
