Union rolls to 46-6 win

A-C Valley also victorious; Moniteau falls

Kaden McGregor rushed for 144 yards and four touchdowns as Union rolled past Clarion-Limestone, 46-6, in high school football Friday night.

McGregor scored on runs of 11, 6, 10 and 39 yards for the Golden Knights (6-1). Dylan Shirey scored on a 22-yard run and Brody Shick tossed a 68-yard scoring pass to Aaron Graham.

Shick threw for 143 yards and also collected his eighth interception of the season defensively.

Jake Gezik added a 4-yard touchdown run for Union.

Clarion-Limestone netted only 4 yards rushing. Tommy Smith paced C-L with five catches for 74 yards and scored his team's lone touchdown.

A-C Valley 21, Keystone 8Freshman backup quarterback Evan Redding tossed two touchdowns and Landon Delisio ran for 170 yards to lift the Falcons (3-4, 3-1 KSAC-Small).Redding stepped into the lineup after starter Kevin Kaufman went down with an ankle injury. The freshman finished 8-of-14 passing for 87 yards.Ryan Bartley was on the receiving end of both touchdown passes. The first came from 9 yards out with 18 seconds left in the first half.A 23-yard aerial strike from Redding to Bartley put Keystone away, giving the Falcons a 21-0 lead with 5:22 to play.Delisio racked up his 170 yards on 28 carries and had a 19-yard score in the third quarter. Justin Rothen caught two passes for 15 yards and added three extra-point kicks.Keystone (2-5, 2-3) scored its only touchdown on a 4-yard run with 1:10 remaining.

St. Marys 29, Moniteau 20Dustin Geagan ran for 197 yards and three touchdowns, but the Flying Dutchmen scored 16 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to beat the Warriors.Geagan scored on runs of 74, 17 and 53 yards during his 21 attempts, while Trevor Shaffer rushed for 108 yards on 14 carries. Andrew Armagost rumbled for 41 yards on six rushes.Moniteau (1-6, 0-3 KSAC-Large) held a 20-13 advantage after three quarters, but touchdown runs from Cody Baker and Alex Feldbauer, along with the safety completed the comeback for St. Marys (3-4, 1-3).

Valley 22, Summit Academy 16Summit Academy was clinging to a 16-14 edge after three quarters, but Valley rallied for victory after a 9-yard rushing touchdown from Demetrius Houser.The Knights (2-5, 1-5) struck first with a 39-yard pass from Chris Harp to La'Dale Cole in the second quarter and Robert Boyd returned a kick 75 yards for a score to begin the second half for a 16-7 cushion.However, Chaz Cheatem pulled in one of his two touchdown receptions in the third quarter and Valley (5-2, 4-2) prevailed in the final frame.
