A Butler resident took first prize in a statewide photography contest held by the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation for her photo of a father and son fishing together.
According to the foundation, Jennifer Wimer of Butler won a carton of 24 candy bars and a state park gift card for her shot, which claimed the “outdoor recreation” category of the PPFF’s Take Five In The Outdoors photo contest.
The contest’s goal was to engage people in outdoor photography and portray the many ways to enjoy state parks.
