Norma J. Whittington

Norma J. Whittington, 66, of Titusville died unexpectedly at her home Aug. 31.

Mrs. Whittington was born Jan. 23, 1946, in Clinton Township, and was a daughter of Mary George Graham and the late John J. Graham.

Mrs. Whittington graduated from Knoch High School in 1964.

She married Rowland J. Whittington on Nov. 19, 1966, and he died June 11, 1990.

Norma was a member of the Social Connection of Titusville and the Titusville Senior Center. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, doing word searches, spending time on the computer and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Whittington is survived by a daughter, Denise Lemchak and her husband, Steven, of Gibsonia; a son, Chief Rowland L. Whittington USN stationed in Sicily and his wife, Marianna; Chief Kris Micon USN, who she raised as a son, and his wife, Audra, of Michigan; her mother, Mary George Graham of Mars; five grandchildren; two brothers, John J. Graham and his wife, Diane, of West Richland, Wash., and Harold W. Graham and his wife, Sheila, of Mars; and several nieces and nephews.

WHITTINGTON — A celebration of life service for Norma J. Whittington, who died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home, 203 E. Main St., Titusville. Interment will be in Pinewood Memorial Gardens, Cranberry Township.The family suggests that memorial contributions can be made to the Social Connection, c/o Titusville Senior Center, 714 E.
