William R. Hufhand Jr.
William R. Hufhand Jr., 55, of Butler passed away at 5:08 p.m. Sunday at UPMC Presbyterian.
He was born Nov. 2, 1956, in Biloxi, Miss., to William R. Hufhand Sr. and Martha Claypool Hufhand.
William received a kidney transplant 27 years ago, for which he was very grateful. It compelled him to care for himself well following the operation. He was a Lutheran.
William is survived by his father, William R. Hufhand Sr. of Riverview, Fla.; his mother, Martha Claypool Hufhand of Butler; one sister, Chrisse Kelly and her husband, Patrick, of Saegertown; one niece, Charity Reges; two nephews, Nicholas and William Reges; and five great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ross Hufhand, who passed away in 1977.
HUFHAND — Visitation and the funeral service for William R. Hufhand Jr., who passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, will be private.Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.The burial will be in the Summit Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
