Butler Junior High downs Shaler, 14-6
The Butler Junior High football team defeated Shaler, 14-6, Thursday.
Quarterback Adam Jendesky scored on a 22-yard scramble in the second quarter and Scotty Deitrich added a two-point conversion.
Butler’s Noah Ryder scored on a 5-yard run in the third quarter after Shaler had closed within 8-6. Ryder intercepted a pass in the final quarter to seal the win.
Butler (3-0) was led defensively by Donovan Slater, Ryder and Logan Dubyak.
