Falcons, Golden Knights dominate opponents

Kevin Kaufman completed 9-of-20 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns as A-C Valley blanked Clarion-Limestone 46-0 in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action Friday night.

The Falcons also forced six turnovers in the game, five coming by interceptions.

Anthony Painter (20 yards), Greg Elliott (60) and Andrew Strauser (3) caught a second-half touchdown from Kaufman while Landon Delisio, Mike Suto, Josh Suto and Dallas Wingard each rushed for a touchdown.

Delisio led the Falcons (1-2, 1-1) with 60 yards rushing on seven carries while Elliott and Ryan Bartley had two catches apiece for 68 and 41 yards, respectively.

Jimmy Holton led the defensive charge with eight tackles with Bartley grabbing an interception and Josh Suto one sack.

Union 35, Redbank Valley 6 — Aaron Graham had a 70-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and Keenan Rankin caught two touchdown passes and also rushed for a score as the Golden Knights won in a rout.Union held Redbank Valley to 91 yards rushing as team.Rankin scored on a 10-yard run and also caught TD passes of 20 and 19 from Brody Shick.Shick was 9-of-19 passing for 142 yards and two touchdowns.Brandon Greenawalt also scored on a 2-yard run for Union (3-0).

Grove City 20, Reynolds 6 — Harold Price scored on a 7-yard run and Foster Reznor caught a 35-yard scoring pass from Jared Graham to stake the Eagles (3-0, 2-0) to a 13-0 first-quarter lead en route to the Region 3 win.Graham, who capped the scoring with an 11-yard run in the fourth quarter, finished with 115 yards on 5-of-6 passing.Reynolds (2-1, 1-1) lost three fumbles and managed just 23 passing yards.

Private SchoolsMatt Cumberland and Hannah Roth scored goals, but First Baptist Christian School dropped a 5-2 decision to Wilson Christian Academy in varsity soccer.FBCS posted a 25-7, 25-15, 25-9 volleyball victory over Wilson as Noelle Garrison had 11 aces, 11 kills and two blocks and Hildi Burleigh 19 assists.
