Montgomery headlines FOP benefit
SLIPPERY ROCK — Butler County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 107 will host its inaugural Country Music Show starring John Michael Montgomery in concerts at 1 and 6 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Slippery Rock University Field House.
Montgomery is known for songs such as “Life's a Dance” “I Swear,” “I Love the Way You Love Me” and “I Can Love You Like That.”
He has sold 16 million albums and had 15 number one singles. He has four Academy of Country Music Awards, three Country Music Association Awards and an American Music Award.
He has been named American Songwriter Magazine's Artist of the Year and Billboard's Top County Artist and Top Male Artist, and garnered two Grammy nominations.
North of Mason-Dixon, or NOMAD, will open for Montgomery. The Pittsburgh band's albums include “City Girl/Country Girl,” and “American Boy.”
