Barb Pyewell and husband Peter Browarny of Center Township earned the 2012 Can-Am Top Student Couple Plaque and a bronze medal at the 2012 Can-Am Dancesport Gala Ballroom Dance Competition in Toronto, Canada.

The three day event consisted of two days of Latin/rhythm dance competition and one day of smooth dance competition.
