SLIPPERY ROCK TWP — The Slippery Rock School Board is accepting letters of interest for a new member from the school district's Region II.

Board member Diane Gieraltowski of Prospect submitted a letter of resignation to board President Mike Scheer at the end of the Aug. 13 board meeting.

Applicants must be a current resident of Region II, which includes Franklin and Muddy Creek townships and the boroughs of Portersville and Prospect. They also must have lived in the district for one year and be at least 18 years old.
