PITTSBURGH — A former Pittsburgh police officer has been ordered to stand trial on charges he tried to extort sexual favors from a fifth woman in return for legal help.

Adam Skweres was bound over for trial Tuesday on charges similar to those he already faces involving four other women.

A newspaper reports the fifth alleged victim says Skweres offered to get her out of testifying at a court proceeding if she stripped naked and performed “a few favors.”

Skweres has denied the allegations.
