Comtra Theatre will conduct auditions for the play “Crimes of the Heart” from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the theatre on Route 19 in Cranberry Township.

Directed by Rodney Boyers, there will be cold readings from the script.

Area high school students can audition for parts in the upcoming Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center production of the Irving Berlin musical “White Christmas.”

Parts also are open for female child actors ages 9 to 12.

Based on the classic film starring Bing Crosby, “White Christmas” is Lincoln Park’s Tri-State Musical to be performed Nov. 9 to 11 and 16 to 18 in Lincoln Park’s 750-seat mainstage theater in Midland, Beaver County. Participation in the Tri-State Musical is open to high school students from the surrounding regions of West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

A rehearsal period of seven weeks precedes the two performance weekends.
