PENN TWP — The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania has planned the following events at the Succop Conservancy, 185 W. Airport Road.
September• Fledglings: Cricket Cacophony, 10 to 11:15 a.m. Sept. 1 and 18• Naturalist led morning walk, 9 a.m., Sept. 6, 13, 20 and 27• Year of useful plants, 10 to noon, Sept. 8• VNA butterfly release, 1:30 p.m. Sept. 9• Meet the conifers, 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 15• Gather ‘round the campfire, 5:30 p.m. Sept. 17• Babes in the woods hikes for toddlers, 10 to 11:15 a.m. Sept. 25• Audubon Center for Native Plants: fall seed collection 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 30
October• Naturalist led morning walk, 9 a.m. Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25• Fledglings: snoozing and snoring, 10 to 11:15 a.m. Oct. 6 and 16• Scout badge day, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 13• Girls’ night out: Build a brandy glass terrarium, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 15• Aw Nuts, 10:00 a.m., noon Oct. 20• Extreme croquet, Oct. 21• Full moon hike, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 29
