Louise Kamerer King
Louise Kamerer King, 96, of Butler passed away at 10 a.m. Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 14, 1916, in Chicora, to the late Obed G. Kamerer and Pauline McSherry Kamerer.
Mrs. King was a homemaker. She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, the Maqueda Chapter 421 Order of the Eastern Star and the Cavendish Club. She was a beautiful artist.
Mrs. King is survived by one daughter, Myrna Schrecongost and her husband, Don, of Petrolia; one son, Obie G. King of Butler; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Dale King, who she married Dec. 25, 1934, and who passed away Feb. 21, 1997; and by two sisters.
KING — Friends of Louise Kamerer King, who passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Short of Grace @ Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
Entombment will be in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park,
