Dustin Scheerbaum and Kaitlin McConnell

A Feb. 16 wedding is being planned by Kaitlin McConnell of Butler and Lance Cpl. Dustin Scheerbaum of Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeffrey and LeAnne McConnell of Bruin. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Allen and DeAnna Scheerbaum of Chicora.

The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of Karns City High School. She is attending Butler County Community College.

Her fiance graduated in 2011 from Karns City High School.

He is in the United States Marine Corps.
