Community Care Connections has received a grant from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, which will help to support programs without government funding.

The $2,500 grant is to be used for services for infants, children and adults with disabilities.

CCC has eight programs for children and adults who have developmental and physical disabilities.

The Butler County Chamber of Commerce and Chatham University in Pittsburgh have announced a partnership to support women businesses.The Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship at Chatham and the chamber will partner through the new CWE Connect, an online, members-only community for women’s business owners and managers.The site offers online workshops, virtual question and answer sessions, and an online library of articles and documents, as well as a video library of events at Chatham on such subjects as business finances, legal issues, marketing, growth, development and resources.The chamber members can join with a $25 discount.Cost is $150 per person for a one-year membership.Contact CWE at 412-365-1253 or womens-entrpreneurship@chatham.edu or visit the CWE Chatham Connect website at www.chatham.edu/cwe/connect to join or to learn more.
