Bands performing in the new urban park created in the 100 block of West New Castle Street include the May Hollow Band on Friday evening and the Angel Blue Band at lunchtime Wednesday. Through Aug. 10, concerts will be given at the plaza each Friday evening, with every other Friday at 6 p.m. featuring three bands as part of a Summer Jam series. Concerts to Munch By, hosted by the Butler County Symphony Association, continues the summer series Wednesday with Andrew Percy on fiddle. Each week a musician or a group will perform free, half-hour concerts beginning at 12:15 p.m. at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St. The series will run Wednesdays through Aug. 22, except July 4.
