Twins agree with No. 2 pick Buxton
MINNEAPOLIS — A person with knowledge of the agreement tells The Associated Press that the Minnesota Twins have agreed with No. 2 overall draft pick Byron Buxton on a contract that includes a $6 million signing bonus. That’s the richest deal so far in this year’s draft class.
Buxton arrived in Minnesota on Tuesday to take a physical and work out the final details on a contract.
