Terri Motraghi

Terri (Schmitt) Motraghi, formerly of West Sunbury, received a Fulbright grant to study in New Zealand.

She will volunteer with local agencies in Christ-church, New Zealand, to assist those who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.

She will also complete a research study examining the effect of an intervention for children at risk for developing language delays.

Motraghi works at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, where she is the study coordinator and clinical assessor for a research study examining interventions for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.

She’s worked for a number of agencies that help both children and adults affected by trauma or violent crime, including the Crime Victim Center of Erie County, the Oxford Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Center and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Center of Excellence for Research on Returning War Veterans in Waco, Texas.

She lives in California with her husband, Sebastian Motraghi.

Keith Warcup was awarded a Pennsylvania Lions Foundation Fellow Award, which is given to Lions who have provided outstanding service to the International Association of Lions Clubs.Warcup has been a member and treasurer of the Slippery Rock Lions Club since 1989.The award was presented by Dr. Don Gibala of the Butler Lions Club, who is completing a one-year term as District Governor in the five-county District 14-N.———On May 3, the Butler Duplicate Bridge Club winners were:First:
