MARS — Mars Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday from May 5 through September in the parking lot at 225 Crowe Ave.

The market features locally grown seasonal vegetables and fruits, homemade breads, pies and baked goods, honey, eggs, potted plants, jams, cut flowers and herbs and handmade crafts and jewelry.

Look Good, Feel Better, a program designed to help women overcome the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment, will hold a session from 2 to 4 p.m. May 20 at Butler Memorial Hospital.Classes are taught by licensed beauty professionals and are open to all women undergoing cancer treatment.Classes are free, but registration is required by calling 800-227-2345.
