WARREN — Northwest Savings Bank has been named the best in customer satisfaction in the Mid-Atlantic Region for the third year in a row.

The ranking comes from J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Retail Banking Customer Satisfaction Study.

The region includes Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Northwest has offices in Butler County.

• II-VI has reported net earnings of $13.9 million, or 22 cents per diluted share, for the third quarter ending March 31. That is compared to net earnings of $23 million, or 36 cents per diluted share, for the same period of 2011.• F.N.B. Corp. has reported a net income for the first quarter 2012 of $21.6 million, or 15 cents per diluted share, compared to the same period in 2011 of $17.2 million, or 14 cents per diluted share.• S&T Bancorp has announced plans to buy Gateway Bank of Pennsylvania, closing the deal in the third quarter 2012. Gateway has assets of $120 million and has a branch in Cranberry Township.
