The Blue Army of Butler will have a first Saturday devotion at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Church, 128 N. McKean St.

Mass will be at 8 a.m. followed by the rosary. A meeting will be held after in the Collins room. Bring a nonperishable item.

The Circle of Friends choir is presenting a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St.The program will include both sacred and secular music. Tickets are available for presale and at the door.Proceeds benefit VOICe and will be used to pay off the mortgage on the shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. A riders' blessing event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, beginning with registration from 10 to 11 a.m. at the American Legion Post 117, 413 S. Main St.Motorcyclists will then ride to Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., for the blessing of the riders between 11:15 and 11:45 a.m.After a fellowship lunch at the church, riders will depart at 12:45 p.m. for a trip to Colonial Gardens Guest House, 121 Steppland Road, to visit with the veterans living there.

CHICORA — A yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 195 Cartwright Road will benefit Chicora United Methodist Church.Items for sale will include antiques, collectibles, crafter items, tools, paintings and crafts.

A May crowning will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 332 Center Ave.The celebration in honor of the Blessed Mother will be sponsored by the rosary makers of St. Michael. The first communion class will perform the crowning led by Rev. James Dolan.The event will include the recitation of the rosary and benediction.

PORTERSVILLE — The senior class of Portersville Christian School will hold a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wendy's, 20111 Route 19, in Cranberry Township.Wendy's will donate 15 percent of profits to the PCS Senior Class for their senior mission trip, where the students will be volunteering at adult day care facilities, a homeless shelter, food pantry and soup kitchen in Myrtle Beach, S.C., from May 26 until May 30For more information, call the school at 724-368-8787, Ext. 10.
