SV softball nets wild 13-12 win
Emily Watson hit a home run and also had a double and a single to lead the Seneca Valley softball team to a wild 13-12 win over North Hills on a soggy Thursday afternoon.
Watson also picked up the win in the circle.
Sami Crilley got the final out in the seventh for her first career save.
Julia Vandrak and Alexa Sisko each had a triple and two singles for the Raiders (11-3, 7-2).

The Seneca Valley doubles team of Jonathan Perkins and Troy Abbott downed Chris Lippiello and Kevin Gogh of North Hills 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 to claim the section championship.The duo will play in the WPIAL Doubles Championships, which begin next Thursday.
Xavier Krause had 17 kills and Steve Stauffer added 16 assists as Butler outlasted Pine-Richland in a 25-14, 25-18, 22-25, 23-25, 15-12 thriller.Cole Chamberlain added 12 assists for the Golden Tornado (8-2, 6-2).<B>Seneca Valley 3, North Hills 0 — </B>Eric Speicher, Brian Pudlo and Alex Berner had seven kills apiece to lead the Raiders to a 25-16, 25-8, 25-2 triumph.The junior varsity team also prevailed 2-0.
