Bednar hurls no-hitter in Planets' 7-0 victory
David Bednar tossed a no-hitter while going 3-for-3 at the plate — including a double and four RBIs — as the Mars baseball team blanked Hampton 7-0 on Monday.
Bednar did walk nine batters but fanned eight in going the distance.
Matt Eperesi doubled and singled, Dylan Stewart added a single and two RBIs and Alex Smith two hits, two runs scored and an RBI for the Planets.
