SV's Watson hurls no-hitter as Raiders claim 4-0 victory

Emily Watson tossed a no-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks while Alexa Sisko backed her with a double, triple, an RBI and two runs scored as Seneca Valley blanked Blackhawk 4-0 in softball action Tuesday.

Alyssa Panza added a triple for the Raiders.

Elsewhere:

• Mars plated three runs in the sixth inning and one in the seventh, but fell just short in a 6-5 loss to Pine-Richland. Erin Hershman had a double, triple and two walks to lead the Planets.

• Karns City could only muster five singles in a 14-4, five-inning loss at Ford City.

• Emily McDonald pitched well for Butler, but the Golden Tornado fell to Fox Chapel, 4-3.

Erin Pennington had a double, single and an RBI for Butler (0-2).
