In case you've forgotten,in 2009-2011, the Democrats had control of Congress. The country had a Democratic president. What did they accomplish during that time frame?

Massive deficit spending, not one budget,passing unpopular healthcare legislation, unprecedented debt, expansion of entitlement programs (buying votes?)thwarting oil exploration and pipeline development, high gas prices, and my favorite, spending on "green programs" that went bankrupt.

Both Democrats and Republicans are responsible for the condition of our country today. It is overly simplistic to assume that one party is solely responsible for the state of affairs in the US.
