SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Garry L. Braden, 55, of Cabot waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving without a license, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving, filed Feb. 2 by state police.

Braden, in a separate case filed by state police March 19, waived charges of DUI, driving without a license, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, a lane violation and unauthorized transfer or use of registration.

Harry L. Hartzell, 46, of Sarver waived to court charges of DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless endangerment, driving with a suspended license-DUI related, hit-and-run and two counts each of failing to yield, running a stop sign and reckless driving, filed Jan. 30 by Buffalo Township police.

Jean E. Miller, 53, of Worthington, Armstrong County, was held for court on a charge of bad checks, filed Feb. 17 by Penn Township police.

BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Molly Adams, 48, of Gibsonia waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, driving a vehicle without valid inspection and an open container violation, filed Feb. 7 by state police.Joshua F. Anthony, 22, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, filed Feb. 1 by township police. Anthony was ordered to pay $662.50 in fines and court costs.Bradley A. Buckallew, 28, of Brookfield, Mo., pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft filed March 12 by township police. Buckallew was ordered to pay $339 in fines and court costs.Philip A. Campbell, 31, of Butler waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property, retail theft and attempted theft by deception in two cases filed Jan. 20 by township police.Janet K. Humenik, 52, of Prospect waived to court seven counts of retail theft and three counts of receiving stolen property, filed Nov. 28 by township police.Tyler J. Karch, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property, filed Feb. 13 by township police.Kaylee M. Long, 22, both of Brookfield, Mo., pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft, filed March 12 by township police. Long was ordered to pay $339 in fines and court costs.Donald W. Watterson, 51, of Lyndora pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 26 by the Butler County Drug Task Force. Watterson was ordered to pay $519 in fines and court costs.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases:Brenden Batchelor, 19, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, waived to court a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 6 by Slippery Rock University police.Nathan L. Benko, 26, of Vienna, Va., waived to court charges of driving under the influence and speeding, filed Dec. 28 by state police.Thomas J. Brenneman Jr., 39, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving, disregarding traffic lanes and driving without insurance, filed Jan. 11 by state police.Bradley S. Burroway, 26, of Emlenton waived to court charges of DUI, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and reckless driving, filed Oct. 21 by SRU police.Stephanie M. Evans, 19, of Butler waived to court charges of indecent assault with a person less than 16 years old and corruption of minors, filed Jan. 22 by state police.William E. Lunn Jr., 35, of Portersville waived to court charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct, filed Jan. 25 by state police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Rachel Baylock, 34, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, making an improper right turn and careless driving, filed Jan. 6.Van D. Claypoole, 56, of Hilliards waived to court two counts of receiving stolen property in separate cases filed Feb. 22.Daniel A. Hartzell, 24, of Cabot waived to court charges of DUI, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving, filed Feb. 21.John W. Kobert, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, failing to keep right, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving, filed Feb. 14.Matthew J. Kovocovsky, 40, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of DUI, failing to notify authorities of new address, disregarding traffic lanes and driving at an unsafe speed, filed Jan. 4.Carol Ann Pash, 54, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and an open container violation, filed Jan. 30.High Pushko, 36, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of DUI, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving, filed Oct. 13.Joshua R. Scott, 23, of Petrolia waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed March 15.
